Jesus told us to go into all the world and make disciples. Sharing the gospel is simply telling others about what Jesus has done in your life—and inviting them to experience Him too.

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Mark 16:15

“They overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.”

Revelation 12:11

You’re not here to debate or convince someone. Just share your experience.

Break your story into four simple parts:

Before Christ

What was your life like before knowing Jesus?

The Turning Point

What made you begin to seek God?

Your Encounter

When and how did Jesus become real to you?

After Christ

How has your life changed? What have you been set free from?

After sharing your story, ask: “Would you like to have a personal relationship with Jesus too?”

Be ready to pray with them.

Use the example below as a guide.

The Sinner’s Prayer

“Father God, I recognize that I am a sinner, and that my sin separates me from You.

I know that the wages of sin is death. I confess and repent of all my sins. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord, and that He rose from the dead.

I break all covenant with the world, with my flesh, and with the devil, and I make a new covenant with You.

I ask You to write my name in the Book of Life. I know that if I were to die today, I would be in heaven. Amen.”

If someone gives their life to Jesus:

Help them find a local campus.

Encourage them to pray and read the Bible.

Invite them to church.

Walk with them by staying connected.
